Reiki is a gentle energy healing technique with profound results. During a Reiki Drumming treatment, we combine a traditional Reiki treatment with the use of a shamanic drum gently played around you to create a reiki drumming "shower" over your body. This process adds the additional benefit of sound waves, frequency, and vibration to penetrate the Reiki energy into your body and energy field in an amplified way, further assisting in breaking up stagnant or stuck energy.

Ceremonial cacao is the main ingredient in chocolate, but so very much more. It was given to us during creation to active our connection to divine intelligence and the cosmos. It is a wise messenger, a heart healer and a means to remember the true beauty of who we really are. It is often referred to as “Mama Cacao” because it is a feminine energy fruit. Ceremonial cacao is tended to only by humans with deep love and is left in its most natural state with nothing modified or taken away. It retains all of the beneficial nutrients (antioxidants, healthy fats, minerals) and healing components (see below) it has to offer. It is prepared as a healthy and uplifting warm drink. After my father passed away in 2020, I was divinely guided to create my original business Ocean State Reiki. Ocean State Reiki has blessed me with the opportunity to co-create healing events, classes and sessions all over Rhode Island and parts of Massachusetts through Usui Reiki, Shamanic Reiki, Ceremonial Cacao and many other holistic modalities. Not a day goes by that I am not incredibly thankful for this journey and the people I have met along the way.
Two of the most important people I was blessed to meet are Jax Carr & Jessica Xavier, Co-Founders of Thrive Tribe Collab. Their grounded mentorship, humble wisdom and loving belief in me has provided support that I will never be able to fully thank them for.
I am a Usui Reiki Master-Teacher honored to be a student of Gladys Ellen. I am also a Shamanic Reiki Master Practitioner honored to be a student of Marg Tudino. I have completed a mentorship working with ceremonial cacao with Alexa Iya Soro and a 10 week in depth cacao training with The Mayan Wisdom Project.
From a young age, I have been called to the energetic art of channeling and it has always been a natural part of my Reiki and cacao offerings. I received a clear calling to train with Ashley V and now I also offer channeled reading sessions. From my spiritual perspective, channeling is the therapeutic practice of communicating with a higher consciousness or wiser energies to provide deeply loving guidance and support. I believe that channeling for our highest good is an important part of healing the collective in these dynamic times.
I believe in the power of healing in community. I am incredibly thankful to join with Kendra to open Ascending Hearts Wellness in Bristol, RI.

For many years I have also been passionate about holistic healing and wellness practices with the firm belief that we all have the ability to heal ourselves using nature and food as medicine. In 2022, I experienced a rapid spiritual awakening and felt called to complete Usui Reiki Level I & II with Jessica Xavier and Jax Carr and a 3-month course in Sound Healing with Tuning Forks, and then followed that with a 12-month Practitioner Level II Certification in Sound Healing with Tuning Forks from The Sound Healing Academy. For this program I conducted over 40 client case study sessions! In 2024, I completed my Reiki Master Practitioner Certification with Amy Schenck and Shamanic Reiki Master Certification with Marg Tudino. I have so much love and gratitude for these teachers and mentors who have been a part of my journey.
For the past 20 years, I have also served others through my career in recruiting and talent management- training and facilitating group workshops on topics such as effective leadership, communication, and identifying & working with different behavioral styles, just to name a few.
Over the years I’ve also informally studied several other natural healing tools and practices such as other sound healing instruments, flower essences, solar, structured, and sacred water, crystals, essential oils, herbs, and more. I find it so exciting to pull from all these various experiences and teachings to tailor my sessions to your needs in a variety of ways.
I consider myself a lifelong student with a desire for continuous expansion and evolution. Location & Parking:
Our address is 13R State Street. Our entrance is located on the Thames Street side of the building. You cannot access us on the State Street side. We are across the street from Bristol Bikes. There is a small town parking lot in front of our entrance and also plenty of on-street parking available throughout the town of Bristol. Please be sure to give yourself 10 extra minutes to be able to park, especially for classes/events and on weekends (especially summer).

Ascending Hearts Wellness has provided a safe, comfortable and welcoming space to experience healing. I have met with Amy twice and both times left feeling lighter, hopeful and grounded.
